Mobile Library

The mobile library is in Laragh every second Thursday.  The times of the mobile library in Laragh – 12 noon until 12.50pm.  The first 10 minutes are outside the Brockagh Centre and then the mobile library goes down outside Lynhams.  The next dates are Thursday 5 and 19 June.

Citizen’s Information

The Citizen’s Information Centre at the Brockagh Centre is open on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. The next dates are Tuesday 3rd  and 17th  June from 10am until 12 noon for information relating to your rights and entitlements.  No appointment necessary.  This is a free and confidential service.

 

Shave & Dye

Marie and Graham Conway are doing a ‘Shave & Dye’ in the Glenmalure Lodge Hotel on Friday 6 June at 9 p.m. Marie is ‘shaving’ and Graham is ‘dyeing’.  All in aid of cancer support.

 

Yogatree Yoga

 

Try Yogatree Yoga – it is suitable for all ages and abilities from beginners to more advanced.  The class takes place every Wednesday evening from 6.45pm to 8.15 pm.  If you’ve always wondered about yoga, try out this class.  Yoga is most helpful to relaxation,  de-stressing, flexibility and improved health. The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre from 9.30 p.m.

 

The Cube at Moneystown

Moneystown NS will present ‘The Cube’ on Saturday June 7 in Aras an Tochair. A night of entertainment is guaranteed as the contestants take on The Cube (based on the hugely popular TV3 show).  Fr. Peter Healy, Andrew Doyle TD, Anne Marah, Peter Ward, Joe Kennedy and Mark Stakem are just a few of the  contestants particpating.  See our Facebook page Moneystown NS Presents The Cube for more details.  Tickets for the event are €20 and are available directly  from Moneystown National School –  0404 45477.  Tickets are also available from Justine’s shop in Roundwood. Alternatively you can purchase tickets from our Committee members – Mary Kearney, Sylvia Byrne, Martin Byrne and Nuala McHugh.

 

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
