Camino Ways Walking Event 25 July Laragh

Are you a walking enthusiast or just looking for a great family day out? Join CaminoWays.comfor a very special walking festival, celebrating St James’ Day in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains.

St James Day, 25th July, is the most special date of the year on the Camino de Santiago and the biggest festival in Santiago de Compostela and Galicia. As you know, the city and famous walking trail takes the name after St James. We are inviting Camino de Santiago fans, walking enthusiasts and families in Ireland to celebrate St James with us again this year!

Participants can choose between two fantastic walking trails:

-13km guided trail for experienced walkers looking for a challenge, departing at 9.30am (starting point Laragh GAA grounds)
-8km guided trail ideal for keen walkers, starting at 10.30am (starting point: Laragh GAA grounds)

Families can join the 8km trail with under 16s (we don’t recommend bringing very small children on the walk)

After the walks, there will be food with Spanish flavour with Food Fiesta, music by Susana Garrido and prizes to be won!

There will be a fantastic draw with prizes from CaminoWays.com and partners 53 Degrees North, Hi-Tec, Survivalist Ireland, Raw Condition, Contigo UK, Food Fiesta, Buff; and we will also have the annual CaminoWays.com photography competition. You can submit your best shots for the chance to win incredible prizes.

CMRF Children’s Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin has partnered with CaminoWays.com for the walking festival and raise much needed funds on the day.
