Car Boot Sale

Our last Car Boot Sale of 2015 takes place this Sunday 6 December which gives you an opportunity to pick up some great deals before Christmas. These sales provide a great chance to browse for a bargain amongst the antiques, and new and nearly-new offerings. Treat yourself to a cake or scones (and bring some home to share). Vans must be booked in. Contact the Brockagh Centre on 0404-45600.

 

Christmas Gift Fair

The Brockagh Centre Christmas Gift Fair this year will be held on Sunday 13 December from 10 a.m until 4 p.m.  Santa will be making his usual trip to the Centre and will be  here from 12 to 3pm.   There will be lots of hand-made and unique Christmas gifts for you to choose from (some costing as little as €5).  You will find home baking, jams and chutneys, Christmas puddings and cakes, jewellery, novelty items, hand-knits, aloe vera, candles, Christmas wreaths, glass and pottery, plants and much, much more.  There are only a few spots remaining so please call as soon as possible to secure your place.  Phone Michelle on 0404-45600 for further information or email laraghit@eircom.net

 

Mobile Library

The mobile library visits Laragh every second Thursday from 12 noon to 12.50 pm.  Please note that the mobile library on longer stops outside the Brockagh Centre and only stops now outside Lynhams.  The next visit takes place on Thursday 10 December.

 

Christmas Lights

Laragh Community Christmas Lights Event will be on Saturday 12th December @ 5.30 p.m. We look forward to music and guests and Santa on the night. If you would like to join the entertainment please drop us a line on laraghchristmaslights@gmail.com.  Christmas Themed Dress on the night.  Donation boxes are in local businesses so please support.

Roundwood 2016 Panto

Roundwood Variety Group are pleased to announce their Panto for 2016, The Pied Piper. Taking place in the Brockagh Resource Centre Laragh, Friday the 29th, Saturday the 30th & Sunday the 31st of January.  Starring the evil Pied Pier, the wicked Rat Queen and her rat filled sewers alongside the handsome hero Hans and his hilarious mother Frau Kinderflapping (the dame!).  The witty script promises to have the entire family splitting their sides with laughter from start to finish so don’t miss out. AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
