Mobile Library

The mobile library visits Laragh every second Thursday from 12 noon to 12.50 pm. Please note that the mobile library on longer stops outside the Brockagh Centre and only stops now outside Lynhams

Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa, Glendalough Enrolment 2016 and beyond

The enrolment process for Sept 2016 is underway. If your details are with us you will receive notification and enrolment application forms by post or through a child in the school.  If you do not receive any notification or have a child at home that you would like to enrol for September 2016, please contact the office immediately (0404 -45460).

We are also looking ahead and planning for future enrolments up to 2019. If you have not previously called us to include your child on the admission lists for 2017, 2018 or 2019, please contact the office on 0404-45460 to place your child on an admission list. Thank you.

 

Wicklow Man

The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre at 10 p.m.   Come along and enjoy the fun.There will be no Wicklow Man on Tuesday 25th of January due to rehearsals of Roundwood Panto.

 

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.

 

Car Boot Sale

The next Car Boot Sale will take place on Sunday 7th February 2016. Vans must be booked in. Book indoor spaces early. Contact the Brockagh Centre on 0404-45600.

Tae Kwon Do                                                                                                                             Energize and strengthen your body with Fit2Fight on Mondays at 8.15-9pm call Paul Healy on 087 248 4570 or just drop in for the class. Paul also teaches Tae Kwon Do on Mon at 7-8pm(general class) and Fri Panther Class 3-7yrs from 6.30-7pm, Junior Class 7-14yrs from 7-7.45pm with Tae Kwon General Class from 7.45-8.45pm. For young students these fundamental skills increase their physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental acumen as well as self –discipline and self-esteem.

Elevation School of performing Arts

Offer a wide range of dancing to children from tots to teenagers with Kate, contact her on 086 825 6775. Classes available in Modern Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop with all teachers qualified through the ISTD, ID Dance or BTEC. Elevation also has its own highly successful competition Dance Team for Advanced dancers.

 

Drama Classes

In conjunction with dancing Kate runs Drama Classes. Classes focus on technique derived from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama giving students the option to take exams and work through grading. Drama modules incorporate improvisation, mime, script work, vocal training and acting skills as well as preparation for the annual end of year show. Call Kate on 086 8256775.
