Laragh Community Garden
Laragh Community Garden is now getting ready for the growing season – and we are encouraging anyone with an interest in growing their own vegetables to get in touch with us. We had great growing success last year and hopefully more people will take up the growing challenge this year! Members can take on a plot for a nominal charge and grow their own vegetables. Experienced vegetable growers are always at hand for advice and help – so you’ll never be stuck when things don’t grow the way they’re supposed to in the books! If you would like to grow your own potatoes, tomatoes and peas for the dinner table this year then get in touch with either Finian McEvoy 0862476822 or Declan Murphy 0861697739 to discuss your requirements. The garden is always open and everybody is welcome to come and visit but please be mindful of other people’s vegetables.
