Bealtaine Festival Afternoon Tea Dance As part of the Bealtaine Festival we are celebrating creativity in older age together at the Brockagh Resource Centre and one of our events will be an afternoon tea dance on Sunday 22th May, 3-6pm with music from the Wicklow Man and hosted by Laragh Glendalough Active Retirement association. Refreshments will be provided.

Citizens information C.I.C have an office in the Brockagh Resource Centre on the first Tuesday each month from 10-12 providing valuable personal advice relating to your rights and entitlements on a large range of matters. Cycling Charity Event

Ronald McDonald House cycling charity event is on April 16th 2016 at Blessington Lakes, Co.Wicklow. To sign up for this event go to www.rmhc.ie. The mission of RMHC, Ireland, is to provide a Ronald McDonald House in order to support families whose children are seriously ill in hospital. The Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and a caring and supportive environment for families whose children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin 12.

Tae Kwon Do Energize and strengthen your body with Fit2Fight on Mondays at 8.15-9pm call Paul Healy on 087 248 4570 or just drop in for the class. Paul also teaches Tae Kwon Do on Mon at 7-8pm(general class) and Fri Panther Class 3-7yrs from 6.30-7pm, Junior Class 7-14yrs from 7-7.45pm with Tae Kwon General Class from 7.45-8.45pm. For young students these fundamental skills increase their physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental acumen as well as self –discipline and self-esteem.

Elevation School of performing Arts Offer a wide range of dancing to children from tots to teenagers with Kate, contact her on 086 825 6775. Classes available in Modern Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop with all teachers qualified through the ISTD, ID Dance or BTEC. Elevation also has its own highly successful competition Dance Team for Advanced dancers.

Start Your Own Business The objective of the Start Your Own Business programme is to assist participants in assessing the viability of business ideas and in understanding the essential elements required to start up and run their own business. TOPICS COVERED: Self-assessment, legal issues, preparing a business plan, marketing for small business, researching the market, finance, sources of funding, basic bookkeeping, sales, using IT in your business & social media. Starting in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on Thursday 12th May 2016 for 10wks one evening per week at 7pm-10pm. Cost is €80 with 15 places available.
