Free Demo Class for Tai Chi and QiGong 

Instructor Neal Traynor will be in Brockagh Resource Centre on Tuesday 25th of October giving a free demonstration class for anyone interested in knowing the ancient art of Tai Chi and QiGong. Suitable for any age, it can enhance any professional sport injury and repair or can be very helpful if you have postural problems. Badminton                                                                                                              Badminton continues every Monday and Thursday at the Brockagh Centre and is as popular as ever. Wicklow Man                                                                                                         The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre at 10 p.m.   Come along and enjoy the fun.There will be no Wicklow Man on Tuesday 25th of January due to rehearsals of Roundwood Panto.

AA Meetings

If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along to the closed AA Meetings that are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.

 

Citizens Information Centre Increased Service

C.I.C have now an office in the Brockagh Resource Centre on the first and third Tuesday   of each month from 10-12 providing valuable personal advice relating to your rights and entitlements on a large range of matters. No appointment necessary. This is a free and confidential service.  For more information go to www. citizensinformation.ie. The next service will be on the 18th October at 10am to 12pm.

Morning Yoga   

This class will run every Thursday from 10 to 11.15am. This is a gently paced class for beginners to advanced.  The class will provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life.  To find out more Call Louise on 087 603 2202 or Brockagh Centre on 0404 45600

Chair Yoga  

Chair Yoga classes at the Brockagh Centre will run on Thursdays at 11.30am to 12.45pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for those who may find regular yoga classes too strenuous – those who may be completely new to yoga, recovering from injury or illness or generally less active and mobile. Tea Dance                                                                                                              On the 27th of November there will be a tea dance at the Brockagh Resource Centre from 3pm to 6pm with music by The Wicklow Man. Pre-Christmas fun before the a busy December kicks in, a spacious hall where you can dance away the afternoon, brightening the winter months with old and new friends. Groups from any area are very welcome, large or small just call on 0404 45600 to book for groups.

Walking in the Lightness of Being

The advanced teachings of the Lenmurian Mystery School use ancient wisdom to transform our lives and the lives of all. In this year of 2016 we are being challenged on many levels: socially, economically, emotionally and spiritually. The workshop is on Sat, Oct 22nd from 9.30 to 18:00 in the Brockagh Centre and it was born out of the need to address these issues that arise from these challenges. Mindful Athletic Performance

This course is for athletes who would like to get more from their sports performance, be more present and in the moment when training or competing, learn to modify their behaviour with awareness, overcome negative beliefs or thoughts that are holding your performance back, would like to achieve and realize their goals. Support workshop for parents

The workshop starting in early October at the Brockagh Centre is about how to best support yourself and your child if he/she is diagnosed with a learning disability, developmental or behavioral disorder.
