Stage Bratz Stars                                                                                                                              Congratulations to the very talented group Stage Bratz who won the National Show Choir Championships of Ireland. A great achievement for them and we wish them every success in their future ventures.

28th Annual Supper Dance                                

Our annual supper dance in aid of St. John’s Church, Laragh will be held in Lynham’s Hotel, Laragh on Friday 18th of November from 8pm to 1am. Join us for dinner and live music including a draw for a hamper. Tickets cost €22.50.

Tai Chi and QiGong                                                                                                                              Tai Chi and QiGong classes are held at the Brockagh on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm. This ancient form of exercise can enhance any professional sport injury and repair or can be very helpful if you have postural problems. Tai Chi will help your body renew itself with powerful whole body movements. Morning Yoga          

This class will run every Thursday from 10 to 11.15am. Chair Yoga                                                                                                                                          Chair Yoga classes at the Brockagh Centre will run on Thursdays at 11.30am to 12.45pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for those who may find regular yoga classes too strenuous – those who may be completely new to yoga, recovering from injury or illness or generally less active and mobile. Evening Yoga with Viva               

Viva’s yoga classes for beginners to advanced on Wednesday evenings in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 7pm. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night.

Badminton                                            

Badminton classes are on Mon evenings in the Brockagh Centre at 7pm (Junior 4th class up) with Seniors from 8pm and on Thursday evenings with a repeat of the same classes.

Social Dancing                                        

The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Resource Centre at 10 p.m for some chatting and a lot of dancing.

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. 

 

Mindful Athletic Performance Workshop                                            

This course is for athletes who would like to get more from their sports performance, be more present and in the moment when training or competing, learn to modify their behaviour with awareness, overcome negative beliefs or thoughts that are holding your performance back, would like to achieve and realize their goals. County Wicklow Network for Older People Seminar 2016

During the recent consultation on the development of an Age Friendly Strategy for Co.Wicklow concern was expressed over the lack of information on various issues including rights and entitlements. Co.Wicklow Network for Older People are holding this seminar to provide a forum to provide information on some of the issues raised and discuss area of concern. Venue is the Glendalough Hotel on Fri 18th, of November from 10.45am to 3pm (Registration tea/coffee: 10am-1045am). Contact Garvan Hickey on 087 1526205 or Frances Creegan at 085 8006872. Request of a €5 contribution per attendee, which includes a two course lunch with tea/ coffee. Transport can be provided.

Cinderella Show 

It’s show time for Cinders on December 17th and 18th at the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh and on January, 2017 on the 14th and 15th in Celbridge. Tea Dance        

Centre from 3pm to 6pm with music by The Wicklow Man. Pre-Christmas fun before a busy December kicks in, a spacious hall where you can dance away the afternoon, brightening the winter months with old and new friends.
