Tidy Towns A.G.M.

Laragh/Glendalough Tidy Towns A.G.M. takes place on Tues 17th of January in the Brockagh Centre. We need some new committee members so please do come along. Local councillors have been invited to a follow on meeting at 8.15pm.

Snow White & the Babes in the Wood

We welcome back The Roundwood Variety Group in January for another fantastic show. This year it will be Snow White and The Babes in the Wood, another hilarious panto written by the talented Thomas O Leary. Recycling this Christmas 

Remember to re-cycle as much as possible over Christmas, bottle and drink tin banks are in the car park at the back of the Brockagh Resource Centre and in the Upper Lake, Glendalough. To report dumping ring Litterline on 1890 548837.

Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the walking group with Get Ireland Walking at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. In association with Get Ireland Walking, Wicklow Local Sports Partnership & Brockagh Resource Centre. All ages and abilities are welcome. If you would like to set up a walking group in Wicklow contact us on wicklowlsp@wicklowcoco.ie for more information. The walking group will be starting back for 2017 on the 9th of January.

Pilates at the Brockagh Centre

Starting in January 2017, Marie Noonan will be teaching Pilates at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Marie has 17 years fully qualified experience in helping people rehabilitate, heal and transform in mind, body and soul. There will be a choice of morning and evening classes available. We Love Art

Art and crafts classes for children are on Monday afternoons at the Brockagh Centre from 1.45 to 3.45.. Classes cover a wide range of art and craft forms. We work with lots of different materials and learn new skills and techniques with every project. It’s all about the joy of making! Phone/text Almha

Adult Art Classes
Wednesday morning art classes with Almha Roche are in the Brockagh Centre, Laragh. For both beginners and more experienced painters from 11am to 12.30pm. For details phone or text Almha on 086 3897732. Classes will return on Jan 11th.

Drama School  

Drama classes are a fantastic way of developing confidence and encouraging creativity and imagination. Drama modules will incorporate improvisation, mime, script work, vocal training and acting skills.

Students will also learn from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama syllabus and be afforded opportunities to take graded examinations under a fully qualified teacher. Elevation holds a 100% pass rate in IBSD examinations. Elevation Drama Junior (5.45-6.45pm) is held at the Brockagh Centre. Contact Kate on 086 8256775. Classes will return on Jan 11th.

Elevation Dance School
