Car Boot Sale

Happy shoppers will find bargain buys and home baking at our next Car Boot Sale on Sunday April 2nd. Book indoor spaces early but if you prefer to be outside just show up in the morning at 8 am. Vans must be booked in. Contact the Centre on 0404-45600 or email laraghit@eircom.net to book.

 Mindful Cooking Workshop                      

In association with Mindful Health and Health Life Balance, join Lorraine and Linda as they take you on a mindful, sensory journey in the kitchen showing you just how easy you can put together beautiful tasty dishes by developing a skill long lost in the kitchen, your intuition. Adventure Kids Wilderness First Aid Course

Do you want to learn how to be a wilderness first aider. The course will be in Brockagh Woods, Laragh on 8th of April. The first group is from 10am-12pm for 6-10 year olds and the second group is from 12.30 – 2.30pm for 10 plus years. Cycle4Families              

Charity event will be on the 1st of April from the Brockagh Centre, Laragh. The Ronald McDonald House provides twenty families, every night with accommodation, care and support while their children are seriously and long-term ill in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Awareness Meditation Retreat                        

Meditation retreats are a life changing opportunity to deepen your meditation practice and enable life balance. Colettle Nkunda, Living Oneness will be teaching this practice in a workshop at the Brockagh Centre on Saturday the 1st of April from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Jade Sun School Meditation-Healing Course

Citizens Information                                                                                                      

The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The next clinics will take place on Tuesdays 4th and 18th April. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.

Community Games Art

The area stage of the Community Games Art for the Roundwood area (Roundwood, Laragh and Moneystown) will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Saturday April 8th at 3 pm.

Children will have 1 hour (U8 and U10), or 1.5 hrs (U12, U14, U16) to complete a drawing, painting or cartoon based on a community games activity. They must bring any materials they wish to work with. Please contact Seamus Doyle on 086-8557962 to register participants in advance.

Laragh Glendalough Tidy Towns                  

 The long-planned bus shelter has recently been erected – many thanks to Glendalough Woodcraft, Jack McGarry and all who helped both in Roundwood and Laragh on the day. Special thanks to Pat Cullen, Cullentra, who provided transport and a teleporter to put the shelter in place. All the assistance was very much appreciated. Our next clean-up will take place on Tuesday 4th April at 7.30 pm. Meet opposite Lynhams.

High Intensity Fitness Dane (H.I.F.D)            

Just pop in on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre to dance your socks off with Adam and the class in cardio exercise dancing, dropping those extra calories. You do not need to be a good dancer or very fit, dance at your own pace and enjoy the music. You can contact Adam on 083 3057949 for information.

Evening Yoga with Viva                                  

Viva’s yoga classes are for beginners to advance on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night. You can contact Viva on 086 3409629 for more information.

Walking group in the Brockagh                                                          

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the walking group with Get Ireland Walking at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. In association with Get Ireland Walking, Wicklow Local Sports Partnership & Brockagh Resource Centre. All ages and abilities are welcome.
