Marigold Festival (Celebrating Healthy & Active Aging)

This year’s Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) Eastern Region South Marigold Festival will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre on Thursday, 15th June (10 am to 4 pm). Celebrating its fourth year, this one-day Health and Wellbeing event will provide a wonderful opportunity for small businesses to present information, services and positive lifestyle products to both ARI members and the general public. New Summer Time for The Wicklow Man

Wicklow Man(David Bury 087 272 3962) is on every Tuesday night in the Brockagh Centre at the new time of 9 p.m.  for a few hours of dancing and socialising.There will be no dance on the 27th of June, 2017.

 

Mindcraft Mindfulness Through Creativity                                                                                    Mindcraft workshop provides an introduction to Mindfulness Through Creativity where you can reacquaint the adult you with the creative you. Community Archaeology Opportunities at Glendalough

Tues 8th – Fri 18th August: Volunteers are welcome to participate in the excavation. Sat 12th Aug: Excavation  for 13-17 yr olds (if accompanied by adults: tbc). Sat 19th Aug: “Big Dig” for children 12 yrs, Open Day at exacavation. Sat 26th: ‘Food and Resources  in the Past’: Open Day at excavations with family activities exploring use of natural resources in the past. Mon 21st – Fri 25th August: Daily tours of the excavations; Graveyard Survey and Graveyard Tours; Art and Atmosphere exhibition. Lough Derg 2017 – Pilgrimage Season

Tai Chi and QiGong Starting 11th of July

The end of this term is June 20th with a new block of classes starting on the 11th of July. Tai Chi and QiGong classes are very powerful tools which help to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Traditional Basket-making Workshop

This full day, traditional basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. Taught in a relaxed learning environment, you will bring home your own completed small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Centre from 9-5 pm on June 24th, July 16th and August 8th, 2017. Classes are small with 5 participants. Garden workshop   also available on request. Tiny Feet Montessori and Preschool Open Day

Our new pre-school is now open in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Sessional and part-time childcare places available, opening times are 9am to 2pm Mon to Friday. We offer the 2yrs free pre-school session for children who qualify (ECCE scheme). All staff are fully qualified in our two room sessional places (Montessori and Preschool) for children aged 2.5yrs to 6yrs. McGrath-Flood School of Irish Dancing Coming to Brockagh Centre/Laragh

Evening Yoga with Viva
