The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.
High Intensity Fitness Dane (H.I.F.D)
Keep fit throughout the summer months with Adam. Just pop in on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre, Laragh to dance your socks off with cardio exercise dancing. You do not need to be a good dancer or very fit, dance at your own pace and enjoy the music. You can contact Adam on 083 3057949 for information.
Morning Yoga with Louise
Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 am. This is a gently-paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilizing the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. Chair Yoga
Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 am to 12.45 pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breath-work, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement whilst seated or through use of the chair whilst standing. Walking group in the Brockagh
Join the Mondy morning walkers at 10am at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. In association with Get Ireland Walking, Wicklow Local Sports Partnership & Brockagh Resource Centre. All ages and abilities are welcome. Moneystown Barn Dance and BBQ
In aid of Moneystown Community Centre will take place on Saturday, 29th July in the community centre starting at 8.30 pm. Music by the Three Bobs, 10 pm till 12 and the Roamin Cadillacs, 12 to 2 am and disco afterwards. Food served till 11.30 pm. Fully licensed. Admission €20, contact 086 1504221 for tickets. Dog Show at Glendalough Car Boot
Our fun Annual Dog Show in aid of Wicklow Animal Wefare on Aug 6th at Brockagh Resource Centre. Registration at 1.30pm with show starting at 2pm. A big raffle on the day with plenty of car boot stalls to buy your bargains at. Contact Michelle on 0404 45600 to book a stall.
Sunshine Summer Camp
Book in now for our exciting, jam-packed Summer Camp in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. With Daily Guest Workshops, Sports, Art, Baking, Games, Woodland Adventures and much more, this Summer Camp is not to be missed. The Glendalough Trail 2017
The Glendalough Trail race is a 15.5km race which takes place on Saturday 4th November, 2017 with registration and refreshments at the Brockagh Centre,Laragh. The Glendalough Trail is a fantastic running experience with a route that is scenic, challenging and safe. Not only will it be a fun, enjoyable day but we hope to raise much needed funds for Fighting Blindness. Traditional Basket-making Workshop
This full day, traditional basket-making workshop will teach you basic basketry techniques. Taught in a relaxed learning environment, you will bring home your own completed small round willow basket (a skib). The workshops will take place in the Brockagh Centre from 9-5 pm August 8th, 2017.
