The Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh would like to thank everyone who supported our events and classes throughout the year, to all our groups who provide activities in the centre, to the board of management who volunteer their time and effort and any others who volunteered their time to the centre and to those who drop in to say “hi”. It has been a great year with the opening of our new extension. This would not have been possible but for all the hard work by the board of management. We welcome Suzy Kenna, Tiny Feet Montessori and Preschool and wish her every success in her business. We also welcome our new tenants upstairs, Adventure.ie, who have opened a great outdoor activity shop. Drop in to Ronan and Cindy’s shop any day except Mondays or Tuesdays.Kwetb (Kildare & Wicklow Education & Training Board) wish to support any activities or training ideas that people have in their community through their training services. We are officially closing on Wednesday 21st of December at 1pm and will return on January, Thurs 4th. Wicklow Willow Courses 2018
Intermediate Round Shopping Basket Workshop: It is more intense than other workshops and it would require previous experience making baskets. February 3rd. Scarecrow Building Workshop: this workshop for those of you who are interested in decorating your garden come the Spring with a beautiful willow scarecrow March 24th and 25th. Beauty and the Beast Pantomime 2018

High Intensity Fitness Dane (H.I.F.D)
Just pop in on Wednesday evenings (back on 10th Jan 2018) at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre to dance your socks off with Adam and the class in cardio exercise dancing, dropping those extra Christmas calories. You do not need to be a good dancer or very fit, dance at your own pace and enjoy the music. You can contact Adam on 083 3057949 for information.
Evening Yoga with Viva
Viva’s yoga classes are for beginners to advance on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre(back 17th Jan 2018). Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night. You can contact Viva on 086 3409629 for more information.
Citizen’s Information Clinic
The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.
Walking group in the Brockagh
On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. All ages and abilities are welcome. If you would like to set up a walking group in Wicklow contact us on wicklowlsp@wicklowcoco.ie for more information. The walking group will take a break over Christmas but if you want to start walking in January you can phone the Brockagh on 0404 45600(back in the office 4th Jan).
