Laragh Glendalough Active Retirement

AR came back to their Tues morning sessions on January 23rd. New members are welcome to  come along at 11am. The first lunch date will be in the Glendalough Hotel on the 6th February. This year there will be more weekly light exercise, socialising, tea with biscuits, monthly lunches, music and planned trips, all on your doorstep. For more information call Denise on 0404 45600.

 Recent Excavations in Glendalough

At 7 pm on Friday 23rd February, the UCD School of Archaeology will present the results of the 2017 excavations at Glendalough. Organised by the Glendalough Heritage Forum, this public lecture will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Wicklow Willow Courses 2018

Scarecrow Building Workshop: this workshop is for those of you who are interested in decorating your garden come the Spring with a beautiful willow scarecrow, duration one and half days on March 24th and 25th. Start Your Own Business Course

This is an essential course for anyone thinking of starting their own business. The objective of the Start Your Own Business Programme is to assist participants in assessing the viability of business ideas and in understanding the essential elements required to start up and run their own business. This is an evening course that runs over 10 wks delivered by experienced trainers who run their own business. An additional benefit of this course is the peer support participants will get by being in a group of likeminded individuals. Starting on 3rd of May, 2018, 7-10pm once a week. Irish Dancing Classes

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from  9am-10am. Pilates at the Brockagh 

Marie Noonan is a qualified Pilate’s teacher and has been teaching for the last 17 years and works full time as a movement therapist for rehabilitation, health and longevity. Evening Yoga with Viva
