Morning Yoga

Louise’s yoga class takes place in the Brockagh Centre every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 am. A gently paced class in which the focus is very much on building a safe and strong practice using the principles of alignment and correct use of the breath.  The body is always prepared for the practice first through targeted and general warm up sequences. Postures (asanas) are taught through a step by step approach (vinyasa krama) using props when appropriate.  Modifications and variations of poses are explored so that each student learns to build physical strength, mental clarity and inner stillness in a safe and non- competitive class environment. To find out more or to book, call Louise on 087- 6032202 (booking is essential).

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is suitable for those who find a regular yoga class too strenuous, are recovering from injury or illness or are generally less active and mobile. The class takes students through centring and breath-work, followed by a guided, intelligently sequenced practice of postures that take the joints through their full range of movement whilst seated or through use of the chair whilst standing. These postures provide gentle stretching, improved strength and flexibility, as well as help students to find balance and calm in everyday life.To find out more or to book, call Louise on 087- 6032202 (booking is essential).
