Parish Spring Sale

Come along on Saturday, 12th of May from 1pm to 3pm at RDA Hall, Rathdrum for a great raffle and lots of tasty baking, plants etc. for sale. In aid of Rathdrum and Derralossary with Glenealy Parish Funds.

Wicklow Mountains National Park – Dawn Chorus

Our Dawn Chorus event is well worth the effort of the early start. Come along at 5 am on Sunday 13th May to hear the birds in full song. If we are lucky we may even hear woodpeckers drumming. Meet at the Upper Lake car park. All are welcome. No booking is required.

Scrap Metal Collection Day a Success
Our scrap metal day fundraiser, was a great success at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Thank you everyone who brought their unwanted scrap metal. We will be holding this event again at a future date and will keep you informed via our website www.brockaghresourcecentre.ie/events or facebook/twitter.

Blessing of the Graves

Blessing of Graves in St. Kevin’s Parish Glendalough cemetery will be blessed on Saturday May 12th at 8 pm. In the event of inclement weather, prayers will be said in St. Kevin’s church after the 7 pm Mass (at approximately 7.45 pm). Brockagh cemetery will be blessed on Saturday May 19th after 7 pm Mass.

Glendalough Hermitage Centre

Adoration Sunday continues until November. It takes place on the first Sunday of each month (from 2 to 4 pm) in the Prayer Room at the Hermitage Centre. The prayers are led by one of the sisters and tea/coffee is available. Centering Prayer takes place from 7.30 to 8.30 pm each Thursday night at the Hermitage Centre. All are welcome. Laragh Community First Responders

REMINDER We are having refresher training on the 15 May 2018 at 7:30 pm in the Mountain Rescue Centre at Trooperstown…..Save the date.  All are very welcome. 

 

Bealthaine Afternoon Tea Dance

The Wicklow Man is back to entertain us while we dance the afternoon away with refreshments provided on May 20th from 3pm to 6pm in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. If you are a group, please call 0404 45600 to book in.

 

Go For Life                                                                                                                

The group meet most Tuesdays, so if you fancy a chat, a cuppa and some light exercise, bowls, music come along on at 11am, they welcome any newcomer. The group meet for lunch once a month at various venues. For further information, call Denise at the Brockagh Centre on (0404) 45600 or drop in.

 

Happy Days

Wednesday mornings 10.30 -12pm at the Brockagh Centre, parents, babies and toddlers get together, have lots of fun weeks with art & crafts and make new friends. Teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health.
