A section of the Wicklow Way, outside Laragh village will be closed in the interest of public safety. The foot bridge on this section of the Wicklow Way has been closed for repairs. The repair of the bridge will start Monday 8th Oct and finishing Fri 12th of Oct. Please divert via Laragh village if you come accross the closed area.

Taming The Monkey Mind Workshops

Taming The Monkey Mind is a six week programme that consists of one and a half hours each week. Participants can expect to learn mindfulness practices for life to bring more ease and calm into the day, ease a racing mind, reduce stress and increase calm and well-being, reconnect with what makes them truly happy. This programme is tailor made to suit peoples lifestyle with ten, twenty or thirty minute Audio meditations as part of the programme, participants can choose which suits them best. Yin Yoga and Forest Walk Retreat

Relax and enjoy a one day retreat of walking and Yin Yoga with Trish (086 1714054) and Sylvia (086 7818531 on Sunday, October 14th at the Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh from 12pm to 3.30pm. Booking is essential.

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night all year round.

New Pilates Classes in Laragh

New Pilates classes starting in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh from Thursday the 11th October. Thursday mornings @ 10am. Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. Contact Zara on 0879367474 for more details. Footfalls Wicklow Walking Festival

The Festival will be based in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh from Friday 26th to Mon 29th of October with many of the walks taking us through Wicklow Mountains National Park. All walks are led by experienced walking leaders who will enhance your day with information on local history flora and fauna. Laragh Badminton Club

We hope to see a good attendance for the start of the new badminton season. Starting Mondays 17th September for Fourth Class (7 to 8 pm) and Fifth and Sixth Classes (8 to 9 pm).  Secondary school students play between 7 and 8 pm.  Membership costs €60 per child for the year; €16 of this goes directly to Badminton Ireland.  The membership fee for Senior players is €120 – playing time is 9 to 10 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

Morning Yoga with Louise

Louise’s yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 am. This is a gently-paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilizing the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. The class begins with general and targeted warm-up sequences followed by postures (Asanas) and Vinyasa (breath-connected) sequences before final relaxation in Savasana. Chair Yoga                                                                                                                                  

Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 am to 12.45 pm. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breath-work, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement whilst seated or through use of the chair whilst standing. Irish Dancing Classes

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from  9am-10am.
