 A Life in the Trees

The paperback version of local man Declan Murphy’s A Life in the Trees has just been released. Declan’s unique and personal account of a family of woodpeckers raising their young in our area would make a wonderful Christmas present.

Citizens Information

The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on Tuesdays 4th and 18th December. The first clinic of 2019 will take place on Tuesday 15th January. Clinics will continue thereafter on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.

Evening Yoga with Viva                                                                                                                                                                       Viva’s yoga classes are for beginners to intermediate on Tuesdays at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre. Improve your fitness strength and flexibility in a relaxing way. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night. Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour. Ongoing

Traditional Basket Weaving Workshops  

Learn to make a traditional round basket using willow. Suitable for both beginners and improvers. The next full day workshops are taking place on Sat 19th and the 26th of Jan 2019 in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh from 9am to 5pm..
