Tidy Towns

Tidy Towns AGM will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh at 8pm, Wed 6th of March. The group are working in unison with Wicklow Country Council, applying for funding to make necessary improvements in the area. Pilates

Pilates classes start back in the Brockagh Centre Laragh next Monday evening the 25th February at 7pm and Thursday morning the 28th February at 10am. Beginners/improvers and all ages welcome! Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, co-ordination, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. To book your place contact Zara Elkinson on 087 9367474. Glendalough Car Boot Sales 2019        

Join fellow shoppers for the first car boot of the year on Sun, 3rd of March, open from 10am to 4pm. Come early to find your bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early. Go4Life Games Day

Wicklow Local Sports Partnership invite you & three others or individually from your group to attend a Go4Life Games Day Wednesday 27th February 2019  11am – 2pm in Newcastle Community Centre. Tea, Coffee and Registration 10.30am, light lunch 1pm. Out of the games day four players from each of ten groups will play three different games with a view to forming a County Team to attend the National Games Day Saturday 8th June 2019 in DCU RSVP. We Love Art

Art and crafts classes for children of primary school age take place on Monday afternoons.  Classes cover a wide range of art and craft techniques and processes, giving kids an outlet for creative self-expression while learning new skills.  Classes are small and places must be reserved in advance, the first class is free for new students. Adult Art Classes

Wednesday morning  drawing and painting classes are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced painters.  Students choose the medium(s) with which they wish to work, and develop their interests and personal style with Almha’s advice and guidance.  If you are thinking of getting back into your art, or trying something new to explore your creative side, now is a good time!  Classes are at 11-12.30pm in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh, commencing on September 19th. Drama School                                                                                                                          

Drama classes are a fantastic way of developing confidence and encouraging creativity and imagination. Drama modules will incorporate improvisation, mime, script work, vocal training and acting skills. Students will also learn from the Irish Board of Speech and Drama syllabus and be afforded opportunities to take graded examinations under a fully qualified teacher. Elevation holds a 100% pass rate in IBSD examinations. Elevation Drama Junior (5.45-6.45pm) is held at the Brockagh Centre. Contact Kate on 086 8256775.
