Glendalough Car Boot Sales Are Back!      

Join fellow shoppers for the first car boot of the year on Sun, 3rd of March, open from 10am to 4pm. Come early to find your bargains on practically anything from household items to garden additions, and even vintage or antique treasures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book indoor spaces early. Contact the Brockagh Centre on 0404-45600 or email laraghit@eircom.netif you wish to book an indoor space or if you prefer to sell outside just show up at 8am on the morning.

Scrap Metal Day

Clean up your home or Farmyard for free  from the  Mon 25th to Sun 31th of  March. Leave your metal scrap around the back of the building near the bottle bank. Glendalough & District Development AGM

The annual AGM will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre on 4th of March at 8pm. Everyone welcome.

Tidy Towns

Tidy Towns AGM will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh at 8pm, 6th of March. The group are working in unison with Wicklow Country Council, applying for funding to make necessary improvements in the area. Citizen’s Information Clinic                                                                                                     

The Citizens Information Centre at the Brockagh Resource Centre is open for information relating to your rights and entitlements from 10 am until noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. No appointment is necessary for this free and confidential service.

Evening Yoga with Viva                                                              

Viva’s yoga classes are for beginners to intermediate on Tuesdays at 7pm in the Brockagh Centre. Improve your fitness strength and flexibility in a relaxing way. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night. You can contact Viva on 086 3409629 for more information.

Walking  group in the Brockagh

On Monday mornings weekly at 10am join the Laragh walking group at the Brockagh Resource Centre for a walk around Glendalough area for approximately one hour.

First Aid Course

Remote Emergency Care course will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre, laragh. Held over 2 days on the 30th and 31th of March. There will be a maximum of 12 students , costing €140 per person,  including all course materials, lunch with tea and coffee. Day one is on from 9am to 6pm and day two from 9am to 5pm.
