Access To The Green Road Laragh

Notice has been given by Derrybawn House that Derrybawn Bridge remains open to all light traffic and pedestrians.  It has been advised that restricted vehicle traffic to that of not more than 5 ton gross weight and 10kmh. This means that cars and vans under this weight have unrestricted access to the Bridge. Pedestrians are not affected by this limitation and have full access to the Green Road at all times. We have regrettably had to place bollards at the entrance to the Bridge to ensure that this limit is adhered to and thereby ensure that one and all are able to enjoy this historical structure in safety. We appreciate that this is the height of the tourist season but we are unfortunately subject to the depth and flow of the river which is at its lowest at this time of the year. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that the bridge will soon be restored to a safe and original condition. If any further information is required please do not hesitate to contact me by email derrybawnestate@yahoo.com or phone on 0874861683.
