The group would like to thank the Brockagh Resource Centre; all the staff and committee for their help and co-operation during the past month. It is also imperative that we thank the other groups using the centre for their patience and understanding with the event, as they rehearsed throughout January.

Start Your Own Business Course

Local Enterprise Office Wicklow, Start Your Own Business Course is commencing Thursday 7th May

Fee Sustainable Community Gardening Course

Wicklow County Council are offering a free sustainable community gardening course to local residents with the kind support of Laragh Community Gardens. This course, has been featured on RTE Nationwide. Time will be split between, walks and talks, classroom discussions and practical sessions. Sessions will focus on improving community areas for biodiversity, alternatives to spraying planting for bees, the benefits of trees, wildflower gardens, urban food production, hedgerows and much more. Over 5 weeks from 10am-12pm, starting Mon 24th Feb, ending Mon 23rd March. Email aoifemunn@munn@gmail..com, enter the word, Laragh as the subject line.

Evening Yoga with Viva                

Viva’s yoga classes for beginners to intermediate on Tuesdays at 7pm (depending on nos.) in the Brockagh Centre. Improve your fitness strength and flexibility in a relaxing way. Wear comfortable clothes on the night and bring a blanket. Mats are available on the night. You can contact Viva on 086 3409629 for more information.

Happy Days

Tuesdays mornings 10.30 -12pm at the Brockagh Centre is for parents/guardians, babies and toddlers who get together a chat and play. It is a great chance make new friends and share ideas. Contact us at 0404-45600 at the centre for more information.

Violin Lessons

Violin teacher on in the Brockagh Resource Centre generally on Thurs from 1-2pm and Sat, 11-12pm but this may vary as needed. All types of music for beginners to advanced levels. Tae kwon-Do for Youths and Adults

Teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Benefits include improving confidence, respect, discipline, awareness, concentration, channeling aggression, balance, coordination, speed, reactions, fitness and health. Call Master Kenneth Wheatley on 087-2547347 for further information. Classes are on Tuesdays at 7.45-8.45pm (Seniors & Teens) in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh.

Active Retirement Group

Social group join to have a cuppa, some light exercise, bowls, chair badminton, dancing, music and monthly lunches in hotels and restaurants around the area. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 11 am in the Brockagh Centre.
