Camping & Caravans
There are no serviced camping/caravan sites in Glendalough or within the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Camping is not permitted in the valley of Glendalough. This rule is vigorously enforced, and campers will be moved on. There are other camping and caravan parks in Co. Wicklow but none in the immediate area of Glendalough.
Wild Camping
Visitors seeking a wilderness experience while undertaking multi-day mountaineering journeys are permitted to camp in the more remote areas of the Park, subject to a code of practice known as “the Camping Code”. Permits may be required.
