Masters of Running workshops

Elevation Dance & Drama

Elevation School of Performing Arts will restart at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday the 16 and 17 September. Find out more at Registration which will take place on Wednesday September 10 at 5 p.m. or call Kate on 086 8256775.

 

Happy Days

Happy Days Carer and Toddler Group is back in the Brockagh Centre on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. and is open to carers and children – from babies up to school age. It is an opportunity for grown-ups to support each other and develop friendships in a safe and friendly environment while their children play and socialise together.   So come along and enjoy the fun with lots of toys to play with and make some new friends along the way. Badminton

Badminton resumes at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday 16 September at 7 p.m for 4th class up and on Thursday 18 September at 7 p.m. for those in secondary school. Seniors play both nights from 8 p.m. A great way to get fit. Come along try it out, racquets can be supplied. For further information contact Finian on 086 2476822.

 

Tree ID Walk

Wicklow Mountains National Park. Join us on Sunday 14 September for a gentle stroll around Glendalough to learn how to identify trees and discover their history, folklore, ecology and uses. Meet at the Information Office at 11 a.m. The walk is suitable for adults and older children only (no dogs allowed). Booking is essential and will be taken on 0404-45425. The event is free to attend but the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow Co. Co.) has a 4 euro charge.

 

Wicklow Man

The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre from 9.30 p.m. 

 

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.

 

Golf Classic

The Peter Darcy Memorial Golf Classic will be held in Roundwood Golf Club on Saturday September 13th. Format is Fourball scramble. Timesheet from 10.00 until 16.00. Some earlier times can also be accommodated. Cost is 160 euro per team of 4 including meal in Woods restaurant and free entry to music night in Woods (3 bands including Roamin’ Cadillacs). Guaranteed to be great fun, last year it was one of the best night of 2013. Proceeds go to Roundwood juvenile soccer club (founded by Peter Darcy) with a donation to Roundwood Senior Citizens Christmas Party. We hope you can support this event in memory of a great friend to many.
