Laragh Glendalough Operation Transformation
Keep on track with your New Year’s Resolutions. Come along and join us for Laragh Glendalough Operation Transformation at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. for weigh-in (optional), short walk and talk. Wear suitable clothing, reflective jacket and torch. We would love for some volunteers to get involved helping out with the weigh-in and organising/leading walks. Dancercise
Dancercise with Adam will take place in the function room in Lynhams on Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. fopr the month of January and will then return to the Brockagh Centre in February.
Honk, The Ugly Duckling
The Brockagh Centre is delighted to once again welcome Roundwood Variety Group for their annual show. Honk, The Ugly Duckling is full of music, laughter and fun and tells the story of a little duck and the cat who wants to have him for dinner. Evening performances will take place on Thursday 29 January at 7.30 pm and on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 January at 8 p.m. with matinées on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February at 3 p.m. Tickets will go on sale from 5 January and cost €15 for night shows or €12 for matinées. St Brigid’s Day
There will be a weekend celebration of St Brigid on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February in Glendalough. Join us for to learn about the Swedish links with St Brigid traditions, Cross making workshop, History talk and traditions, herbal medicine, harp meditation. On Sunday there will be a choice of 3 reflective walks around Glendalough. Booking is essential and must be prepaid by January 22. Car Boot Sale
Our next Car Boot Sale at the Brockagh Centre takes place on Sunday 8 February – indoor spaces must pre-booked and prepaid. Vans must be booked in. All subsequent car boot sales after 8 February will return to their normal slot of the first Sunday of the month. Call (0404) 45600
