Wednesday mornings 11 a.m.- 1p.m. for beginners and Tuesday evenings 7-9 p.m. for the more advanced at the Brockagh Centre.  This course offers to help those with little experience of the internet.   The course provides an easy step-by-step course where you will discover:  email attachments, search engines, on-line transactions such as paying motor tax, podcasts, playbacks, on-line safety and security, skype, on-line banking, buying on line.   This is a free 4 week course (2hrs per class) morning or evening, for those over 65 and costs €20 to those under 65.  The even better news is that those who have done our previous Benefit 3 or Benefit 4 course are eligible for funding again.   Please register your interest as soon as possible.  Call us on (0404) 45600.

 

Kinesiology Clinic

 Masters of Running workshops

Saturday and Sunday 27 & 28 September at the Brockagh Resource Centre. Elevation Dance & Drama

Elevation School of Performing Arts will restart at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday the 16 and 17 September.  Call Kate on 086 8256775.

Happy Days

Happy Days Carer and Toddler Group is back in the Brockagh Centre on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. and is open to carers and children – from babies up to school age. It is an opportunity for grown-ups to support each other and develop friendships in a safe and friendly environment while their children play and socialise together.   So come along and enjoy the fun with lots of toys to play with and make some new friends along the way.  If you would like to find out about volunteering opportunities (garda vetting and training required) contact the Brockagh Centre on (0404) 45600.

 

Badminton

Badminton resumes at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday 16 September at 7 p.m for 4th class up and on Thursday 18 September at 7 p.m. for those in secondary school.  Seniors play both nights from 8 p.m. A great way to get fit.  Come along try it out, racquets can be supplied.  For further information contact Finian on 086 2476822.

The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night at the Brockagh Centre from 9.30 p.m.

 

AA Meetings

Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night.  If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
