Fireside Session
Glendalough Arts Network presents Fireside Session in Lynham’s Hotel, Laragh on Friday 20 February at 8 p.m. (please note the later time). This session will feature live music with a scattering of poems, stories, comedy and memories. Entrance free.
Laragh Glendalough Operation Transformation
Last weeks of Laragh Glendalough Operation Transformation.at the Brockagh Centre on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. for weigh-in (optional), short walk and talk. Also Thursday night meet for a walk with Sarah. Wear suitable clothing, reflective jacket and torch Call the Brockagh Centre on (0404) 45600.
Tablet Course
Have you grasped the basic of using your tablet but would like to find out more? This course will take place on Thursday nights in April from 7 to 9 p.m. for 10 weeks (start date to be confirmed). Items covered include – connecting to other devices including tvs, downloading apps, Dropbox/Cloud, YouTube, managing files, google documents, Playstore, Security. Call (0404) 45600 for more details. Spring Garden Course
6 week garden course facilitated by Suzie Cahn. Subjects covered include-Growing in a polytunnel or greenhouse, Starting growing for summer crops, Willow frames for climbing plants, Soil health and composting, Container planting, Garden layout and design, Rain water harvesting. Classic Cinema
An introduction to Classic Cinema at the Brockagh Centre. Four interactive and anecdotal sessions led by life-long film buff George Fleeton on Thursday 9, 16, 23 and 30 April from 7 to 9 p.m. Euro 15 per session or all four sessions euro 50.
