Trail Closure
Please be advised that the Lower Lake Boardwalk, Glendalough will be closed from Monday 15th November 2021, to allow for the removal of non-native trees. We estimate that the Lower Lake Boardwalk will remain closed for a period of two weeks. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages and our website for updates regarding re-opening.
For visitors planning to walk the Green Road Walk (Green Route) or the Woodland Walk (Silver Route), please be advised to use the Green Road for the duration of the Lower Lake Boardwalk closure.
The National Park Information Point is open daily from 9:30am to 16:30pm. The guide on duty will be happy to answer any queries you may have about any of our walking trails. Free copies of the Walking Trails of Glendalough map are also available here. Or call us on 0404 45425 during opening hours. We thank you for your cooperation.
Brockagh Christmas Market 2021
Our very popular Christmas Market is back on Sunday, November 28th from 10am to 3pm.
